Mutual

Nearly every bank, mutual fund company, money manager, and insurance company in the United States is organized as a stock company. Some of these entities are privately held, such as Fidelity Investments. Others, like T. Rowe Price are publicly traded. A small number of banks, insurance companies, and single investment company (the Vanguard Group) are mutually owned.
